| Foundation Purposes and History |
Waverly Health Center's Foundation was incorporated June 16, 1987 as a 501 c(3) non-profit entity. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors with the current President also serving on the Health Center’s Board of Trustees. The Health Center’s CEO serves as the Foundation’s Secretary and Treasurer.

WHC's Foundation solicits, administers, and disburses financial support from the general public in support of the health center and its mission to provide the high quality, patient-focused health care.
Over the past 20 years the Foundation has raised and allocated nearly $2.5 million, while building an endowment of close to $800,000. The Foundation has supported three expansions (1995, 2000 and 2005), assisted Waverly Health Center in offering new specialty services and community health programs, and purchased much needed equipment to enhance current services. In addition, the Foundation raised the necessary dollars to support the construction of the new Tendrils Rooftop Garden & Community Arts Pavilion (opening in 2008).

Waverly Health Center's Foundation supports anyone wanting to leave a legacy gift to their children as well as your children’s children, who choose to work and/or live within the service area of Waverly Health Center.
Foundation projects are entirely supported by charitable contributions. Through your generous contributions, you are making an investment in the medical facilities, state-of-the-art equipment, services, and programs for you, your family, neighbors, and friends.
