The primary mission of Waverly Health Center’s Physical Therapy Department is to provide the highest quality of physical therapy services in a manner that respects each patient’s dignity and right to courtesy, confidentiality, and compassionate care. This mission is accomplished with the help of our friendly, caring staff dedicated to serving our patients’ needs. Our staff consists of nine licensed physical therapists, three licensed assistants and one certified athletic trainer. This allows us to provide quality health care within the broad scope of physical therapy. |

Our 6,300 square foot clinic offers ample space and top of the line equipment, including access to a warm, therapeutic pool. The state-of-the-art clinic enhances our ability to provide the highest quality treatment to our patients from infants to seniors.

| Our staff of physical therapists has an excellent relationship and rapport with Waverly Health Center’s medical staff and numerous consulting physicians from a 30-mile radius including Waterloo and Cedar Falls. We also receive frequent referrals from University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and the Mayo Clinic. |

 | William Taylor, PT: |
| • Physical Therapy degree from University of Iowa, 1968. |
| • Areas of interest and expertise include orthopedics, manual therapy, functional capacity evaluations (FCE) and industrial medicine. He especially enjoys treating neck and shoulder problems and total knee replacements.

 | Michael Kaus, PT: |
| • Physical Therapy degree from Mayo Clinic - Rochester, MN, 1983. |
| • Areas of interest and expertise include treatment of back, shoulder and knee problems with special expertise in the treatment of neck problems, fibromyalgia and TMJ dysfunction. Michael has served as the center coordinator for clinical education here since 1993. We are a training site for physical therapy students from four major institutions and physical therapy assistant students from two programs. He is a credentialed clinical instructor.

 | Jodi Reyerson, PT: |
| • Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Des Moines University 2006, MS Physical Therapy degree from Des Moines University, 1990. |
| • Areas of interest and expertise include spinal mobilization, craniosacral therapy, myofascial and visceral mobilization, and manual lymph drainage techniques. She enjoys providing patients a holistic physical therapy treatment alternative. Jodi has completed extensive manual therapy training since 1990. Jodi has been a Certified Lymph Drainage Techniques practitioner since 2005.

| • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from St. Ambrose University, 2008. MS Physical Therapy degree from the University of Iowa, 1990. |
| • Areas of interest and expertise include shoulder, low back and foot pain along with chronic wound care management. Ron is a work injury consultant for Waverly and Shell Rock businesses/industries. He is also a clinical instructor for four physical therapy and two physical therapy assistant institutions in the Midwest. |

| • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences, 2004. MS Physical Therapy degree from Washington University - St. Louis, 1999. Jerod has been a National Athletic Trainers Association Certified Athletic Trainer since 1997. |
| • Areas of interest and expertise include orthopedics and sports medicine, as well as chronic pain caused by movement system imbalances. Jerod serves as an approved clinical instructor for UNI’s athletic training program as well as a clinical instructor for physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students. He works closely with Waverly–Shell Rock High School student athletes and coaches.

| • Areas of interest and expertise include women’s health, vestibular rehabilitation, geriatrics, and neurological rehabilitation, including CVA, spinal cord and head injuries. She has expertise in rehab management for skilled nursing facilities. |

| • BS Physical Therapy degree from Rockhurst College, 1985. |
| • Areas of interest and expertise are in neurological rehabilitation including head/brain injury, spinal cord injury, genetic syndromes, neuromuscular diseases, strokes and developmental delays in a population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. She is also interested in long term care including home health. |

| • Areas of interest and expertise include pediatrics, geriatrics, and hospital inpatients. Leah has provided therapy in varied settings including both large and small hospital systems, outpatient clinics, nursing homes, and home health. |
